Delete your Photo Scanner account

Delete in the app

1. Open Photo Scanner.
2. Go to Settings → Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

Delete without the app

Email support@photoscanner.nl from the Google account you use in the app, with the subject "Delete my Photo Scanner account". We delete your account within 30 days and confirm by email. If you write from another address, we may ask you to prove the account is yours.

What is deleted

• Your Photo Scanner account: your name, email address and user ID.
• When you delete in the app: all scans and settings stored by the app on that phone.

What is kept, and for how long

• Photos you uploaded stay in your Google Photos. They are yours; delete them in Google Photos if you want.
• Usage statistics and crash reports are not linked to your account. They are deleted automatically after [2 months] and 90 days.
• Support emails, including your deletion request, are kept for up to [2 years].

Also remove Google Photos access

Deleting your account does not remove the permission you gave in Google. You can remove it in your Google account settings under third-party connections.
