Photo Scanner

Terms of use

Last updated: 21 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the Photo Scanner app for Android, made by Journey Builders B.V. (Chamber of Commerce number 28113352, Waldeck Pyrmontlaan 5, 2341 VA Oegstgeest, the Netherlands). By using the app you agree to them. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.

2. What the app does

The app helps you photograph pages of photo albums and books, find the individual photos on a page, crop and enhance them, and upload the photos you choose to your own Google Photos account.

3. Your Google account

You need a Google account to use the app, and uploads go to Google Photos. Google's own terms apply to your Google account and to Google Photos. Photos you upload count toward your Google storage.

4. Your photos

5. Free with ads

The app is free to use and shows ads. We may add paid features later. If we do, their price and conditions are shown in the app before you buy, and payments run through Google Play.

6. Fair use

Do not use the app for anything illegal, do not try to break or overload it or the services it uses, and do not copy or resell the app.

7. Changes and availability

We improve the app regularly, which can change or remove features. We try to keep the app working, but we cannot guarantee it is always available or free of errors, for example when Google changes its services.

8. Liability

We build the app with care, but we provide it as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, or for loss of photos or data, for example when an upload fails. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

9. Ending

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account. We may block access for anyone who seriously breaks these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes we will let you know in the app before they take effect.

11. Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country. Please contact us first at support@photoscanner.nl; most problems are solved quickly that way.
